You have your opinion and I have mine. You offered me the bigness of the desert,
and Joe offered me the decadence of Budapest. Maybe I was
too stupid to appreciate a good thing when I had it.
But austerity has never been my strong point. And decadence has always appealed to me.
You tempted me mightily, my friend. But it never would have worked. If it seems that way now, it's
only because nothing ever came of our fling.
