Well, I don't.
Taking things too seriously can lead to ulcers. Although I hear the medical profession
has revised their collective opinion about that.
But even if laughter isn't the best medicine, I'm willing to bet people who can laugh
at themselves live longer.
Of course, a lot of serious fiction goes to great lengths to prove it's laughing at itself.
The laughter I don't mind. The lengths I do.
But the sermons are the worst. Does anyone have the right to tell anyone else what
they should like?
