In the kitchen, Marty was tapping his foot to the music. He nudged Lyssa and nodded in the direction of the living room. "Shall we join the minors?"
"Oh dear," Lyssa responded. "I wouldn't know what to do any more."
"Don't make yourself older than you are. Isn't this song straight out of your youth?"
"Barely. It certainly is mine. Come on!" He grabbed her hand and began to pull her in the direction of the living room. "Pretend it's 'Satisfaction.'"
It was the next best thing to a miracle. Lyssa was dancing to the Stones in her assistant editor's living room. And it did not go without comment.
"Experiencing a second spring?" Marty asked between songs.
Lyssa just threw back her head and laughed in a very uncharacteristic way.
